This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions for delivering wholesale orders from Star Kimya San. Ltd. Şti. to our customers worldwide. By placing a wholesale order with us, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
2. Shipping Methods
We offer multiple shipping methods for wholesale orders, including:
International Freight (Sea or Air Cargo) – Recommended for large volume orders.
Express Courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT) – Suitable for smaller, urgent shipments.
Road Transport – For domestic or nearby country deliveries.
3. Delivery Terms (Incoterms® 2020)
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our standard delivery term is EXW (Ex Works) from our factory in Bandırma, Balıkesir, Turkey.
Other delivery terms (FOB, CIF, DAP, etc.) can be arranged upon request and confirmed in the proforma invoice.
4. Processing Time
Orders are processed only after payment is received in full (unless on approved credit terms).
Standard production and handling time: 10–20 business days, depending on order size and product type.
Custom or private label orders may require additional production time.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, volume, destination, and delivery method.
Unless otherwise stated, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, insurance, and customs duties.
6. Customs & Import Duties
International orders may be subject to customs inspections, duties, and taxes.
These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our product or shipping prices.
We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance.
7. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer once the goods are handed over to the carrier under the agreed Incoterms.
For shipments arranged by us, we ensure goods are securely packaged, but insurance is recommended for high-value orders.
8. Delivery Times
Estimated transit times (subject to carrier schedules and customs clearance):
Sea Freight: 15–45 days (depending on destination).
Air Freight: 5–10 days.
Express Courier: 3–7 business days.
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
9. Delays & Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to port congestion, strikes, natural disasters, or political instability.
10. Order Tracking
Tracking details will be provided for courier shipments.
For freight shipments, we provide Bill of Lading (B/L) details upon departure.
